How water conditioning works

Our water conditioners change the state of limescale (calcium carbonate) without removing calcium from the water or adding chemicals.

In hard water, dissolved calcium bicarbonate turns into solid calcium carbonate (CaCO₃) when exposed to pressure or temperature changes. This solid form, known as calcite, sticks to surfaces and forms limescale deposits.

A unique spiral alloy core creates turbulence and a catalytic reaction, changing the physical characteristics of the calcium carbonate.

The calcium carbonate is converted into a more stable aragonite crystal form, which does not adhere to surfaces. This prevents limescale build-up and allows the calcium to flow through the system harmlessly.
