Fiesta Acapulco case study
Scaletron reduced downtime, improved system efficiency, and delivered cleaner, better-tasting water.
Client: Fiest Acapulco
Region: USA
Sector: Hospitality
Product: Scaletron water conditioner
Fiesta Acapulco is a popular restaurant in Newburgh, Indiana, operating in an area with very hard municipal water (25–30 grains per gallon). Despite using a conventional softener, staff faced persistent scale issues in the tankless water heaters, dishwasher, and beverage systems.

The challenge
The solution
To protect the full system, two ½” Scaletron units were installed — one on the main incoming line to treat the entire building and another before the dishwasher for targeted protection. An activated-carbon backwashing filtration system was also added to serve the beverage and ice machines, removing chlorine and ammonia from the municipal supply and improving taste and odour throughout the restaurant.

Results

1/2” Scaletron on main water supply and 1/2” Scaletron installed prior to dishwasher
